Reckless Turbo SS - the Build, the Story and the Numbers.
Guys, this started from a 2023 Heritage Softail FLHCS. We had several in the shop, so we picked the one with the lowest mileage. Clean base, right energy. The goal was to blend Bobber attitude with performance and club-style elements - what we think defines today’s custom scene. This is our second build in that direction, and it’s now officially the Killer Custom style.
This project was built for the Custombike Show in Bad Salzuflen, and it was a serious grind. We had just two months. No time for test assembly, no second chances. We built the whole bike in our head - every line, every part, every detail. We knew we wouldn't see the bike complete in our shop, the final result would only come together live on stage.
Everything was stripped off. The frame went to our painter - TJ Studio, and they went insane with it - layers of gold foil, aluminum, and marble under so much lacquer you can’t feel the frame sticker anymore. We kept the engine stock 114 CI but added the Trask Turbo kit. That’s where the attitude begins. The front end is completely custom: our own triple trees, 17x4.5 rim, and Öhlins USD 765mm forks. We designed and CNC’d our own caliper brackets to fit the Brembo radial calipers. We modified a carbon fairing to sit lower and angled down, sourcing a 6” car headlight and building a custom bracket just to make it fit.
The rear end uses our "Bobbstr" fender with metal side struts and our "Predator" seat featuring carbon inserts. Mantas spent 36 hours straight on that seat alone. We used a 16x6.5 custom rim with the original M8 hub to run wider Sportster S tires, and the Trask swingarm is finished in matte black ceramic to contrast the glossy frame. Brakes are front double 13” Lyndall rotors and Brembo 484 calipers front and rear.
We assembled the whole thing live on stage in two days. That was the first time we saw it finished. It’ll be used for shows and media, and eventually, it will find a new owner. A huge thanks to Victor for the design and production and Laurynas for making it all happen.
Then came the Dyno. We took it to Nerijus at Dyno House in Kaunas, the best in the region. We compared it to the stock performance of 78hp and 98 torque. Our Reckless Turbo pulled 121hp and 141 ft-lbs. It’s extreme, yet smooth, soft, and easy to control.
You can comfortably ride it anywhere - but at the same time, it’s always ready to go full reckless.
