Some of you might remember a US imported BMW E34 540i. Yes, it is still with me. The saga continues. I left you off with a valley pan gasket replacement, assembled everything back together, just to find out in the spring that the valley pan gasket was leaking. Leaking badly. It took me three more attempts to get it fixed. I have now removed the oil pan, but that's for later. For now let the pictures tell you a story.

A customer came in saying that the rear end is sagging and asked to replace the rear springs. An easy thing I thought. Upon removing one of the springs, it turned out to be a bit worse. Everything got fixed and completely renewed.

Back to work. As my daily routine involves hitting a brick wall when trying to find parts, this was no exception. Aston Martin, like many other brands, has a whole list of parts, either silly priced or made out of unobtainium. Well, this inner door handle cable has seen better days. No, it's not new, it's a fixed old part. I won't go into too many details about my degree in profanities and how it helps me to fix things, but you get the idea.
