Diesel is back on the track with some decent results!
Keep in mind that the car is rwd and weighs 1820 kg without driver and fuel!
And it is capable of consuming under 9l/100km of diesel in combined mode!

Engine's running! Only needs to be fully assembled 😎

And regarding an E61 LCI, that's an engine replacement, unfortunately. I've suspected a lack of compression right after it's been rebuilt as it took longer to crank the engine, but not significantly.
One day, after running WOT for a few seconds car wouldn't accelerate at all and 1 cylinder stopped working... After reading ecu codes I found a smoothness regulator error so I thought it would be caused by a mechanically broken injector, but after checking them, they were fine...
A compression test have shown the following numbers:
#1, #2, #3 - 13
#4, #6 - 20 (yay about normal)
#5 - 0 :(
Having 0 compression made me think that piston rings could have melted as they had a too big gap after fixing the engine (STD rings were advised after honing the engine...), but even adding some oil in the cylinder didn't add any compression at all, so there's probably a cracked piston inside...
I've already ordered another engine and hope to get it running within the next 2 weeks before a holiday...
Stay tuned for more news :)

P.S. Sorry for the messenger sound in the beginning

Some parts wear out unexpectedly fast when you turbo your car... 😅

When having a bad day becomes usual...Not too much damage, but not fun either.
