Here’s something important to know:

The personalization fee is paid directly to the Traffic Department, not to Glasfit. The cost can range from approximately M2,500 to M30,000 depending on the characters you choose and their availability.

Whether you want:
βœ”οΈ Your name
βœ”οΈ Initials
βœ”οΈ Special numbers
βœ”οΈ A custom combination

The Traffic Department handles the approval and levy. Once your personalized registration has been approved, Glasfit will manufacture your official number plate.

Please note:
β€’ Personalized plates are available on private vehicle plates only.
β€’ Public transport plates cannot be personalized.

So even after paying the government levy for your personalized registration, you’ll still need your actual number plate manufactured by Glasfit.
