Kia Motors Lanka Joins Hands for Nelson Mandela International Day.
Kia Motors Lanka proudly partnered with the South African High Commission in Sri Lanka to support the beach clean-up programme at Crow Island Beach, Mattakkuliya, held on Friday, 17 July, to commemorate Nelson Mandela International Day.
Held under the patronage of the Chargé d’Affaires of the South African High Commission, Ms. Nthabiseng Ramatshela, the initiative brought together diplomats, government officials, environmental advocates, and volunteers in a shared commitment to protecting our environment and giving back to the community.
The initiative closely aligns with Kia’s global commitment to ocean conservation through its Kia Worldwide Ocean Cleanup initiatives, reflecting the brand’s ongoing efforts to create a more sustainable future and encourage meaningful action for our oceans.
As participants dedicated 67 minutes to community service, the event honoured Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of public service while inspiring collective action for a cleaner, healthier environment.
