අපගේ ආයතනයේ, The Divers Underwater Service හි, අතිශය වටිනා සේවකයෙකු වූ W.A Sunil (ගන්ජා)මහතාගේ අභාවය පිළිබඳව අප මහත් කම්පාවට පත්ව සිටිමු. හෘදයාබාධයක් හේතුවෙන් හදිසියේ අපෙන් වෙන්ව ගිය ඒ දයාබර මිතුරාට සහ සගයාට අපගේ අවංක ශෝකය පුද කරමු.

ඔහු ලංකාවේ වැඩිම ගැඹුරට කිමිදුණු, සිය ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ අසමසම දක්ෂතා දැක්වූ විශිෂ්ටයෙකි. ඔහු සේවයට අතිශයින්ම අවංක වූ, කැපවීමෙන් යුතුව කටයුතු කළ පුද්ගලයෙකි.

ගැඹුරු මුහුදේ විශාල නාවික යාතා ගිලෙන අවස්තාවලදි දිවිපරදුවට තබා එම යාත්‍රා බේරා ගැනීමේ මෙහෙයුම් ගණනාවකට දායකත්වය දුන් සගයෙකි.

ජීවිතය බේරා ගැනීමේ මෙහෙයුම් වලදී, මුහුදේදී අසරණ වූ විදේශීය මෙන්ම දේශීය බොහෝ දෙනෙකුගේ ජීවිත ගලවා ගැනීමට ඔහු කළ මෙහෙය කිසිදා අමතක කළ නොහැක. ඔහු සැබෑ වීරයෙකි.

ඔහුගේ අකල් වියෝවෙන් කම්පාවට පත් පවුලේ සැමටත්, හිතමිත්‍රාදීන් හා සගයන් හටත් අපගේ බලවත් ශෝකය පිරිනමමු.
