Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

The car comes with a F8D, 3- cylinder, 796 cc, 12 valve engine. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox as well. There is a 32 bit microprocessor combined with the power- mill which produces a lot of torque output for the car.

The Maruti Alto certainly looks sportier than all its predecessors. The front has received a huge overhaul. It has a newly styled two part radiator front grille. The grille comes with a strip of chrome that is hexagonal in shape.The black and the chrome form a really good combination as well. The split grille is mounted on a bumper, which is body colored. The grille is surrounded by the fenders which are quite prominent. This makes them really efficient and strong enough to handle the frame of the car as well. The car also comes with door handles that are body colored, deep lines that run along the body of the car and really smart and sturdy looking wheels. The windscreen space is also quite large. The tail lamp that comes with the car is smarter looking than the previous ones.

One of the biggest aspects of the car is the fact that the interior spaces have been widely increased. The seating has become really comfortable- the car is now big enough to seat around five people. There are cozy seats along with a lot of leg room and there is ample space for luggage as well.The cockpit area has received a major makeover, with the new dashboard looking very modern and practical at the same time. The dashboard now has a V shaped panel in the centre as well. The music system and the AC vents are also in the dashboard.

The car comes with a really amazing power steering that provides the driver with really good control. There are power windows in the car, storage space for the driver side, and a digital clock. There is also an efficient air conditioning, a large glvoe box, bottle holders, etc. The air conditioning also provides one with a climate control system for the car. Of course, Maruti has not forgotten anything about the safety features of the car. One has a lot of safety features inbuilt in the car, such as driver airbag (only in the petrol high- end version, though), collapsible steering, engine immobilization system, radial tubeless tyres, headlight leveling etc.

Suzuki Motor Corp partially improved the "Wagon R" and "Wagon R Stingray" light cars and released them Aug 25, 2014
By combining the "mild hybrid system," which has a simple structure and can lower costs, and an improved engine, Suzuki achieved a fuel efficiency of 32.4km/L (approx 76.2mpg) under the JC08 test mode, which is higher than that of any other two-wheel-drive (2WD) light van (overall height: 1,550mm or higher)
Conventional hybrid systems use a motor as a source of driving force. On the other hand, the mild hybrid system that Suzuki calls "S-ene Charge" uses a generator having a motor function or "ISG (integrated starter generator)" to help engine operation at the time of start-up and acceleration and to restart the engine that was turned off for a short period of time when the vehicle stopped
The amount of energy regenerated by the S-ene Charge is 30% more than that regenerated by the "Ene Charge," which generates electricity at the time of deceleration and is used to power electrical equipment such as an air conditioner and audio equipment, because Suzuki improved the efficiency and output of the ISG. The increment is used to help engine operation, etc
With regard to the engine, Suzuki made improvements to the "R06A Type," the engine of "Alto Eco," whose fuel efficiency is 35.0km/L under the JC08 test mode. Specifically, the company reduced friction resistance and improved combustion efficiency in the aim of preventing knocking caused by the increased compression ratio. Moreover, it made changes to the accessory belt drive system and used two belts: one for the ISG and the other for other devices
