Story: The battery has been treated for 5 years now. Originally, set for disposal in 2012. However, today it is in better conditions than it was in 2011 when PowerBatt was first applied.Economy: Since it is 48V 625Ah battery, it takes 9L of PowerBatt in annual dose. Which is roughly 230 EUR.Dosing: Generally, dosing is 60ml of PowerBatt per cell and per 100Ah. So, for 48V 625Ah battery it is 60ml x 48V/2V x 625Ah/100Ah = 9 000ml, i.e. 9L of PowerBatt.Application: PowerBatt is applied once a year. Simply poured into an electrolyte of battery, instead of distilled water. No other devices or equipment is needed.Composition: PowerBatt contains hydrogen peroxide, salts, organic substances and other substances that are natural for battery. When battery treated by PowerBatt, no new substances are added to battery than are already present in battery.EffectsPowerBatt removes blocking (sulfate) layers from lead accumulator electrodes, converting it back to a recyclable form thus enabling further charging and use of the accumulatorsThe conductive particles dispersed in the acid solution and in the sludge layer, which cause self-discharging and short circuits, are converted into a non-conductive state, thus eliminating the self-discharging and short circuits.PowerBatt initiates the active material of the lead accumulator electrodes to increase the intensity of the electrochemical processes.PowerBatt modifies and reinforces the structure of the lead accumulator electrodes, enhancing its surface and maintaining it in good condition by reduction of sludge generation. This summary presents data obtained from mass spectroscopic analysis of gasses evolved during application of the PowerBatt regenerative additive and during charging as part of the regeneration procedure

Conclusions

Mass spectroscopic analysis of the vapour expelled during addition of PowerBattt additive and the gassing stage of the subsequent regenerative procedure did not identify any volatile species.

It is possible that water vapour was expelled from the electrolyte during the addition of the PowerBatt additive. This is consistent with the increase in battery temperature and vigorous bubbling observed within the battery electrolyte.

1. If battery is completely discharged, charge the battery for at least 30 minutes

2. Open all battery´s cells in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Make sure the volume of electrolyte (in all battery´s cells) covers at least the electrode plates; if necessary, add distilled water while leaving sufficient space for PowerBatt to be applied.

4. Pour 60ml per each cell per each 100Ah of PowerBatt Prevent into each cell according to the maximum manufactured capacity for an electrolyte. If this is not possible due to a high level of electrolyte, add as much PowerBatt as possible to reach the maximum level of electrolyte indicated on the cell (never above the maximum level) and rest of the calculated volume at later stage (usually couple of weeks later), when the volume decreases due to electrolyte evaporation.

5. Apply PowerBatt slowly, in order to prevent the battery from a sudden chemical overreaction. It is recommended to apply the quantity of PowerBatt in 3-4 instances with 20 minutes in between (In hot climate wait at least 30 minutes). Continuously observe the temperature of the electrolyte, do not add PowerBatt if the temperature of cells rises above 40 degrees Celsius.

6. Wait for 60 minutes, or until the reaction terminates (bubbles are no longer formed violently and the cell temperature begins to decrease).

7. Add back the central distilled water distribution system according to the manufacturer instructions.

8. Use standard charger to charge battery fully and then place battery back into operation.

9. Repeat the procedure every 12 months.

The following battery was tested: Producer: Eternity, Serial number: ET-101912 C14, Nominal voltage: 48V, Nominal capacity: 775Ah, Number of cells: 24 , Battery production year: March, 2014

Testing Results Summary:

The battery showed stabilization of acid density levels
106% Improvement of performance during capacity testing
109% Improvement of discharging time
Saving per extended lifetime of the battery 65%
Test Executive Summary:

The test has been performed on 1 forklift traction battery for Dortmund & Hubbard LLC (UAE) according to the following procedure:

Test 1

a) Voltage and density have been measured in every cell of the fully charged battery

b) The battery has been discharged to 43.2V at 150A

c) Capacity measurement has been taken: 217 Ah

d) Discharging time has been measured: 1 hour 26 minutes (please refer to the enclosed test protocol below)

e) The battery has been fully charged and put into operation under normal conditions for more than 10 cycles

Test 2

a) Voltage and density have been measured in every cell of the fully charged battery

b) The battery has been discharged to 43.2V at 150A

c) Capacity measurement has been taken: 448 Ah

d) Discharging time has been measured: 2 hours 59 minutes (please refer to the enclosed test protocol below)
