Under the terms of the sale of Ssangyong Motors and the Korean government, the goal is to succeed in the employment of the entire automobile business, factories, and workers.

In the sale negotiations that have been going on for over a year, on the 20th Oct, Edison Motors of Korea, which produces electric buses, was selected as the preferred bidder.

Edison Motors announced the succession of Ssangyong Motors workers. In the future, if Edison Motors successfully acquires Ssangyong Motors, it is expected that business with parts factories and subcontractors will be normalized.
