Review of Nissan Bluebird Sylphy 2009 Model
So we set to review the Sylphy based on a drive from Mombasa to Nairobi, the road has bad stretches of road thanks to diversions and tarmac road riddled with potholes upto Voi, it has smooth straight stretches, hills and corners. The perfect conditions to test a car.
Engine Cap:1498 cc
Power:109Bhp @ 6000rpm
Torque:148Nm @ 4400rpm
Type:Sedan
Pros:
1.Lovely Interior with wood trim finish, comfortable and has alot of room at the front and rear
2. Deceptively fast after 100kph, picks reasonably well once you get to 100kph.
3.Very Stable.
4.Big boot space.
5. Surprisingly, the 1.5 litre HR15DE engine has sufficient power to pull this big car and is rather economical
6. Key less entry and ignition, button operated boot.
Cons:
1. The Sylphy's Achilles' Heel is probably the harshness of the suspension over rough / broken tarmac.
2. Lethargic peaking upto 100kph.
Conclusion:
For its price bracket 850k total cost it's definitely value for money. It's performance is good, has good fuel consumption, and is comfortable.
