............Electric vehicle start-up Fisker Inc. has filed for bankruptcy in Delaware. It’s one of many companies in the sector to have done so in the past year.
The company has listed between $500 million and $1 billion of assets, and between $100 million and $500 million of liabilities, in its Chapter 11 filing, which will protect it from creditors as leaders work out a way to repay them.

My long-time friend Favour Wanja is launching her book: Whispers Of Solace!
We were study buddies in High School, and yes we cracked those Mathematical and Accounting numbers together, and we have kept this bond 28 years on!

This book is a most courageous story of how to overcome grief!

Losing a loved one puts you in a very vulnerable state! Grief is something we really can't explain, even to people closest to us, they may not understand you in this season!
Many times It is the real definition of "The Valley of the Shadow of Death", It is dark in there.......

I think it took me about 5 years or so to accept the loss of my eldest sister. You don't really get to recover, you just learn to cope and live each day at a time without a loved one!

So when my buddy Cess told me she was writing this book, I was very happy, because I knew it would be a good resource to many who find themselves in this space!

I was in a meeting few days ago with business people from all corners of this Globe!

I noticed a few things:
✅Very few countries have English as their native tongue
✅Our Kenyan English is really good- don’t argue with me 🫣

And now that the KCPE results were released yesterday, it took me back 28 years ago when I sat for my finals. I scored a straight A in English. Don’t ask me about the rest of the subjects, I don’t remember!

The reason English was important is because our teacher Mr. Theuri. Wa Kahûthû! caned us into scoring good English grades! 😬
We have not recovered from those canes 3 decades later! But we are grateful!

When we got to High School, we met others who spoke smooth English of nose! Especially those who had been to primary boarding schools. Hapo hapo our English esteem ikashuka 🙃

Then when we got out here to live the real life, we discovered the R and Ls are not barriers to success.
Especially after listening to Successful people like Mwangi wa Equity. 🤗
Now we speak our English and mothertongue with pride!
