It has been a while since our last post, we are grateful for the continued support and patronage. There is a post we feel is very critical especially first time car owners especially ladies. If you go for service anywhere and stop at a gas station and they check your fluids (ATF and Oil) and they tell you "hakuna kitu", before you do anything call the garage/service station from where this was done. When the car is in motion or has just come to a stop is not the best time to take readings of these. If at all there is no ATF or Oil in the car, it would not move, the gearbox would cease and the engine would knock. We have seen a number of referrals or actual incidents of this hapenning to people. Too much Oil or ATF in the car is actually a bad thing. The guys at the petrol station just want to make a sale and are also not qualified mechanics, most of the time they will be wrong. Take a reading 10-15 minutes after the car has stopped. Stay safe.
