Almost 90% of car owners don't know what this components are and they end up

This components are very crucial when it comes to the performance of an engine and never be advised to delete them from your. This is how important they're in your car.

Thermostat and Temperature Control Sensor.
They work hand in hand in making sure your engine maintains its normal operating temperature ( 70⁰c - 80⁰c ).
Engine are not meant to work under cold temperature. So when you start your engine in the morning or when parked for long, the engine is cold, thermostat is closed, the temperature sensor instructs the ECU to pump more fuel into the combustion chamber so the engine will heat up faster. Once engine heats up and temperature going higher the temperature sensor instructs the thermostats to open and push in coolant into the engine to cool it down and they cycle continues.

DASHBOARD LIGHT COLOURS

No doubt you have noticed every time your start your car that all of the lights on the dash illuminate and then quickly go out, this is all part of the start-up procedure and standard electrical and systems checks the car will do each time it is started. It’s usually quite rare to see any of these lights beyond the start-up, however would you know what any of these lights actually mean should they come on?

Most of them are advisory and some will require your immediate attention, whilst some you may have more time to address. Either way, it’s wise to understand what these dashboard warning lights mean and what actions you need to take. These dashboard lights will depend on the vehicle but are usually red, amber, blue or green.

1.Red Dashboard Lights: (warning)

If a red dashboard light also known as warning lights appears while driving or when you switch your engine on and doesn’t go away, then this indicates a serious problem. Red is the most severe of all the dashboard warning lights and is telling you there is a potential safety issue. If you see a red warning light appear, you should stop driving immediately and identify the issue. Do not continue driving until you are confident that it is safe to do so. Red warning lights include but are not limited to: Battery warning , Brake system alert, Hazard warning light, Oil pressure warning, Seat belt reminders, Power steering warning, Doors open reminder, Transmission fault, Airbag fault alert.

2.Amber Dashboard Lights (advisory)

An amber or orange dashboard light also known as advisory dash lights is a signal to operate with caution. It isn’t as severe as a red dashboard light but is likely to indicate that something needs to be serviced or repaired in the near future. If an amber light comes in, you can continue using the vehicle with caution, but the issue should be closely monitored. If an amber dashboard light is ignored, it could develop into a major problem. Amber warning lights include: Check engine light, Low fuel warning light, ESP fault warning light, Low oil level indicator, Change in tyre pressure, Low on coolant, ABS warning light.

3.Green or Blue Warning Lights (information)

Green dashboard lights are often not there as a warning or sign of an issue but instead to indicate that something is on or operating. They notify you of certain information that you should be aware of while you are driving. Green or blue dashboard lights include: Parking sensor in operation, ECO mode activated, Headlamps on, Fog lights on, Full beams on, Interior light on, Coolant system too cold, Indicators on, Window wipers on, Stop/start system.

HOW CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR WOKS
Crankshaft position sensor is a very vital component in an engine.
The crankshaft position sensor, also known as the CKP sensor, is used to determine the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft in an internal combustion engine.
The sensor is typically placed near a toothed wheel or a reluctor ring that is mounted on the crankshaft.
The reluctor ring has teeth or windows with equal spacing, corresponding to the desired resolution for measuring the crankshaft position.
As the crankshaft rotates, the teeth or windows of the reluctor ring pass by the Hall effect sensor.
The sensor is positioned in close proximity to the reluctor ring, so that when a tooth or window passes by, it creates a change in the magnetic field near the sensor.
It detects this change in the magnetic field and generates a voltage pulse or a change in the output signal.
The signal conditioning circuit associated with the sensor amplifies and processes the signal to provide an accurate measurement of the crankshaft position.
By analyzing the frequency and timing of the pulses or changes in the output signal, the engine control unit (ECU) can determine the position and speed of the crankshaft.
This information is crucial for the ECU to accurately control the ignition timing, fuel injection, and other engine parameters.
In some crankshaft position sensor designs, a Hall effect sensor is combined with a magnet to form a magnetic field-sensitive device.
The teeth or windows of the reluctor ring either interrupt or complete the magnetic field lines between the sensor and the magnet as they pass by.
This change in magnetic field is detected by the Hall effect sensor and converted into an electrical signal.
