The Meru Showground Auto Bazaar is a weekly event held every Sunday for vehicle buyers and sellers, It is located at Meru A.S.K Showground off Meru- Nanyuki Road which is approximated 0.5 km from Makutano Market. It is run and managed by Meru Mega Auto Bazaar and enjoys support from key motor dealers and operators across the county. Our main objective is to give people platform to buy and sell vehicles by charging small affordable fee of by ksh.300 as a gate fee for every motor vehicle brought to the market for trade and free entry to buyers and window shoppers. The market, which is the first ever of its kind in Meru and the entire Mount Kenya region is targeting to attract customers from at least the four neighboring counties i.e. Tharakanithi, Embu, Isiolo and Laikipia county, moreover, we are recruiting market representatives and coordinators for the following towns ;Meru, Embu ,Chuka, Maua ,Isiolo, Nanyuki, and Marimanti,we are targeting to be serving around 1,200 customers in every typical market Sunday from early next month i.e April 2018.We have also plans under way to bring on board Bodaboda operators due to the fact that they have become significant players in our todays transport industry and actors in micro economy and therefore ignoring them is being insensitive.
Later the organization is planning to unveil its business website and introduce online marketing of vehicles and all automobiles including motorbikes in the region and the entire country.
