Before cars ruled the roads, one man dared to imagine movement without horses — Karl Benz.

Born in 1844 in Germany, Karl Benz was a brilliant engineer with a dream bigger than his time. While many people saw horse carts as the future, he believed machines could change transportation forever.

Despite struggles, failures, and people doubting him, Karl never gave up. In 1885, he built the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, the world’s first practical automobile powered by an engine. It was a strange three-wheeled machine, but it became the beginning of the modern car.

What made his story even more powerful was his courage and persistence. At a time when people laughed at impossible ideas, Karl kept building, improving, and believing.

Today, every car speeding on highways carries a piece of his dream.
