When we at Detailers Kenya found our self on the other side of the estimate, the difference was simple. We’re probably far more annoying about it 😂.

What began as an unfortunate encounter with another motorist evolved into something of an obsession to us.

◢◤ Land Rover Discovery Sport restoration:

- Two door replacements later,
- Rear quarter reconstruction and left front fender restoration
- Panel alignment.
- Bodywork refinement.
- Factory correct colour matching paint .
- Paint correction.
- Diamond Ceramic Coating installation

We do it not because the damage was visible, because the imperfections were, and we wouldn’t sleep right knowing it wasn’t right. The objective was never simply to repair, it was to restore integrity. The kind where panel gaps feel intentional, the reflections run uninterrupted, the finish looks as though nothing ever happened.

To some of us, cars are more than transportation. They are engineering, craftsmanship and they are objects worthy of preservation. The details most people never notice are often the ones we obsess over.

And yes… we are just as particular with our own vehicles as we are with yours. Our craftsmanship leaves no evidence.

A gentle reminder that even Detailers Kenya occasionally need detailing. We found ourselves on the receiving end of unexpected repairs.

This beautè, Land Rover Discovery Sport underwent extensive restoration following an accident, including replacement of two doors, reconstruction of the rear quarter section, and refinishing of the entire left side. The goal was never simply to repair,it was to make the repair disappear.

After all, true craftsmanship is measured not by what was fixed, but by what can no longer be seen or detected afterwards.

This 2025 Suzuki Jimny arrived at our workshop before the first signs of wear, corrosion, or environmental fatigue had a chance to appear.

First, let me say, receiving this award feels a little like seeing a perfectly repainted car under the sun for the first time, you know you worked for it, but the glow still catches you off guard. With a heart full of gratitude and hands that smell faintly of polish, paint, and a little bit of bustle.

Receiving this award isn’t just a personal win, it’s a celebration of a vision that began with a simple idea, Cars may be machines but the people who own them deserve an experience. At Detailers Kenya, we’ve always believed that a car’s paint is more than colour, it’s identity.
And the work we do is more than service, it’s restoration, exactitude, integrity, and craft.
But let me be honest, the journey hasn’t been a smooth, freshly coated panel. There were days my team and I looked at a car and wondered whether the owner brought it in for repair… or deliverance. Yet we handled it, with patience, skill and a level of care only passion can and provided me with something invaluable, Excellence is not an act, it’s a decision you make every day.
