Rally4Rhinos

Rally4Rhinos Multiple Kenyan Motorsport Champions Nish Lakhani and Teeku Patel have teamed up with Wildlife Works to "Rally4Rhinos"! But it's a costly exercise.

Africa's Rhinos and Elephants are among the most critically endangered species of mammal on the continent. Between poaching, habitat loss and human/ wildlife conflict every day is a battle between conservationists and poachers. The efforts are not in vain and the war is being won! Safari operator Nish Lakhani and private safari guide Teeku Patel have taken it upon themselves to help raise some of

these vital funds. The pair, both highly successful motorsport competitors and multiple champions, are returning to tackle the daunting nine day grueling East African Safari Classic Rally in November 2017 in a 1971 Datsun SSS with the aim of raising money for Wildlife Works and the efforts they are putting into restricting charcoal burning, habitat loss and daily flights in their gyrocopter to monitor elephant movements and ensure there are no potential poaching threats. Please help support the cause!

Rest Day Update at the East African Safari Classic Rally 23:

Leading the class most of the first half of the rally but coming into rest day, a freak half-shaft damage cost us 1,5 hours. 😞
The team from did a marvelous job on the rest day service and our little Siuoxie Sioux is back on top form!
Bring on the second half of the rally!

East African Safari Classic Rally Day 1
A relatively conservative clean drive through Day 1 which was very rough in two of the stages!! Sadly had to take a penalty late out of end of day service due to broken sump guard which needed Re welding otherwise would be leading our class. Long long way to go yet!
