The EJ207 is a turbo DOHC flat four; factory output is up to 323hp. "Found in the JDM Impeza WRX STi, the Subaru EJ207 engine features 8:1 compression and is one of a series of EJ20’s. They were introduced in 1989, intended to succeed the previous Subaru EA engine. The EJ series is the mainstay of Subaru's engine line, with all engines of this series being 16-valve flat-4 horizontal, with configur

ations available for double-overhead camshaft arrangements (DOHC). These engines are commonly used in light aircraft, kit cars and engine swaps into air-cooled Volkswagens or other Subarus. Primary engineering on the EJ series was done by Masayuki Kodama, Takemasa Yamada and Shuji Sawafuji of Fuji Heavy Industries, Subaru's parent company. Do you guys have any plans for your cars this year? I parked my 207-swapped GG wagon and will be taking it apart completely in 2025. It still runs well but I am going to take my sweet time to do a major overhaul on it now that I have a new daily driver (Scion iA that gets crazy high mpg). I'm considering going with a slightly larger turbo as well to replace the OEM twinscroll.

I'll have more time for my car this year since I am finally about to finish my school (took a 12 year break from college to work haha). With life, my job, school, and everything else it was kind of a low priority. There are a number of pages I started to check up on after this long hiatus, like JN Garage for example.

Hope all is well with you guys, looking forward to getting back into the Subie world again and interacting with you all! I will most likely be asking questions as I tear my car apart and put it back together again, it's been a little over 8 years since I did and I am now out of practice.
