They are entitle to buy duty free cars too but only 5 years old car or newer.

Keep in mind before buying duty free car you need to have your residency card first .

The process of buying duty free car takes from one week up to one month sometimes more depends on MOFA.

How do you proceed ?

You need to choose the car you liked

Make the car purchase contract

The seller should provide you with 1- the car statement contains the car vin number and engine number with all the car options 2- The car deposit Document.

When your office admin afford the approval from MOFA and Customs Dep,

You need a clearance company to do the clearance and registration on behalf of you it takes three days more less.

The clearance company will need the following from your office .

1- The MOFA and Customs approval letters.

2- Authorizations signed stamped from your Office.

3- Letter of guarantee from your office.

4- Photo Copy of your passport

5- Photo copy of your barcode on the last page in your passport

6-Tax Number this is for free from Tax Department.

The coast of the car clearance is more less 350 JOD.

For NGO and USAID there is customs fees depends on the car engine capacity .

For the foreigners who is not entitle to buy duty free car they can buy tax paid car but should be only 5 years old or newer not more than 5 years its not allowed .

Also they need to have the Iqama Residency Card.
