of Caribbean Junior Karting Academy Tournament (CJKAT) Report. Jamaica drivers strongly represented our country and proved that the Jamaica Karting Association produces world class drivers. The competition was over 3 days at the Bushy Park, Barbados with 4 Races per day, 3 Semi-finals and 1 Final. 16 drivers from Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica and was funded by the FIA. The Jamaica Karting Association (JKA) is a members club whose function is to promote go karting as a sporting activity in Jamaica. It currently has a membership base of 120 persons with 40 current active members. Today’s membership has changed to include primarily the children of Jamaica’s business and racing communities, between the ages of 5 and 19 years.

The Palisadoes International Raceway has been the home of the Jamaica Karting Association since 1998. Located on the old runway, of the then Palisadoes Airport, on what was primarily an abandoned peninsula, the JKA has taken it and made it into their home.

Whether, you are a potential driver, spectator, or if you just want to have fun.....come & check us out....
