NIV – Galatians 1:9
“As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!”

Paul wasn’t breezing through this. He was blazing. Furious. This wasn’t a soft pat on the shoulder kind of warning. No. He repeats himself like someone who’s throwing down a verdict. Like a man who’s seen the truth twisted one too many times. “As we’ve already said…” He’s going back to it like a preacher who’s not done, like he’s thumping the pulpit and locking eyes with the crowd. This gospel he preached—it wasn’t up for debate, remix, or softening.

So let me break it down in today’s language. That bit, “under God’s curse”? That’s not just polite Bible talk. That’s the full weight of judgment. That’s Paul saying — and I’ll keep it holy because I fear God — but he’s calling these fake gospel preachers proper mother—, you know what I mean. He’s not cussing for fun. He’s burning with righteousness. Because when you twist the truth of Christ, you lead people straight to hell.

And listen: if you’ve got the courage to read this far, I’ll give you a fair chance to leave now. Because from this point on, it gets real. It gets raw. This is the Gospel, no filters. No lace and frills. It’s bold. It’s street. It’s the truth.

You want to come for me about this message? Go ahead. Criticise my style, my rhythm, my slang. Call it a rant. Call it too hard. Hit me with your best arguments. But I’ll tell you this — I will double down. I’ll beat every false word with scripture, and I’ll shoot arrows of truth from my Bible like a man at war. Because I am at war. This is war for souls.

2 Corinthians 10:5 says it plain: “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

You got arguments? I’ll make them captives. Your pride, your excuses, your watered-down gospel — all of it gets bound in chains and dragged before the throne of Jesus.

Let’s speak straight now. I’m not here giving speeches. This isn’t for applause. I’m here for truth. Maybe you’re not the kind of bloke who knows how to shut the door, drop on your knees, and cry out to God in the silence of your bedroom. Maybe you’ve never sat in the Word for hours, reading, trembling, worshipping, writing down your prayers in tears. Or maybe you’re the opposite. Maybe you’ve been walking in the Spirit since your youth. Maybe you’re like John the Baptist, full of the Holy Ghost from the womb. Like Paul, chosen before birth. Like Jeremiah, called from the belly. Like Jesus, fully God and fully man even in Mary’s womb — the true Holy One from the beginning.

But don’t get it twisted. Even the chosen need repentance. Even the faithful need to stay sharp. You can’t live on yesterday’s fire.

So here’s the hard truth: If you’re married, and you’re sleeping with someone else — you’re on your way to hell. I’ll say it again, loud and clear. If you’ve got a wife, and you’re having an affair, your soul is walking into damnation. You’re not just messing up. You’re playing with fire that leads to the lake of fire.

You might be going to church. You might even be on stage, preaching or singing. You might be respected in your community, used by God, praised by men. But if you’re in adultery — your place is not with the saints. It’s with the condemned.

Revelation 21:8 lays it bare: “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral… their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur.”

That’s not me saying it. That’s the Word. Straight from the mouth of the Judge.

Paul told the Corinthian church to hand the adulterer over to Satan — not for revenge, but so his spirit might be saved on the Day of the Lord. That’s how serious it is. Church isn’t a game. Grace isn’t a get-out-of-hell-free card. If you’re living in sin, stop pretending you’re saved.

If that’s you — confess. Go now. To your leader, your pastor, your mentor. Whoever walks with you. Confess. And stop. Right now. You’re not promised tomorrow. Repent. With tears. With a broken heart. Cry out like David did in Psalm 51 — “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” And then turn. Turn away from the affair, the lust, the p**n, the flirtation, the double life. Walk out of darkness and into the light.

The word salvation in Greek — sōtēria — it means healing too. God doesn’t just forgive. He heals. He changes the desires. But you must come humble. Not like a Pharisee who keeps the rules but whose heart is dead. Jesus didn’t come for the “clean.” He came for the broken who know they need Him.

Stop opening those websites. Stop sending those secret messages. Stop being “extra nice” to that woman who’s not your wife. You think it’s innocent? It’s not. You’re already on the path of iniquity.

And listen — this isn’t just for the men. Sisters, this is for you too. If you’re flirting with someone else’s husband, dressing with double motives, stirring hearts that aren’t yours to stir — stop. You’re being deceived by a spirit that drags to hell. Your judgment will be the same.

Hebrews 9:27: “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”

You will give account. For every word. Every thought. Every look. Every click. Every message. Every lie. Every touch. Every sin you never confessed. You will give account. And no lawyer, no excuse, no backstory will defend you before God. Only the blood of Christ. But that blood only covers the repentant. Not the stubborn. Not the double-minded. Not the fake.

Repent. That’s the message. You must repent.

And if you’re the one who’s been faithful — if you’ve been treating your wife like Christ treats the church, gentle, humble, servant-hearted, full of the Spirit — bless you, brother. Keep going. Lead your home like a king and a priest. Guard your marriage like a soldier. Love your wife like she’s the only woman in the world. Because that is the Gospel too. The letters of Paul always end in the home: wives, husbands, children, workers, bosses. The Gospel touches it all. It’s not a Sunday hat. It’s your life.

The Gospel isn’t a checkbox. It’s not your “religious identity.” You’re not just “Christian” like you’re also into cycling, or music, or CrossFit, or you’re vegan. No, mate. The Gospel is the foundation of your entire life. It changes how you think, how you speak, what you love, what you hate. If it hasn’t changed everything, then you’ve never really known the Gospel. You’re living a dead tradition, like the Pharisees Jesus called whitewashed tombs — clean on the outside, rotten inside.

So ask yourself — what gospel are you living? The true one? The one that saves, that transforms, that calls you to the cross? Or some cheap knock-off, some easy, cultural, watered-down version?

Galatians 1:9 again — “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!”

That’s how this all started. And that’s where I’ll end it. There is only one Gospel. Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, coming again. And He’s coming not just as Saviour — but as Judge.

So choose today whom you’ll serve. And serve Him with all you’ve got.

Blessings,
Pedro
