Day 1 of Tour 3.
We started with a 30 minute ride to our lunch stop and what a great place. Highly recommend if in Pleurtuit and you can see from the photos how much it was enjoyed.
We then continued to our overnight stop in Morlaix.
130 miles on some lovely roads in temperatures reaching 31 degrees.
A few of us then had a lovely 3.5k walk after dinner to digest the desserts 🤪

Great ride out today with our BEST provider clients. 9 bikes turned out and 45 miles of virtually no traffic in lovely weather.

Great opportunity to familiarise myself with this little beauty before we head off on Wednesday on our 3rd Tour of the year.

A massive thank you to my brother Kevin who kindly loaned me his bike, a GS1200, for the tour whilst my trusty FJR1300 is still in intensive care at Inmotion.

Thanks also to Pete at Inmotion who also kindly offered a loan bike for the tour.

The GS is a very different ride to my FJR in so many ways but I feel we are going to get on just great 👌😎🇯🇪

So things apparently happen in 3’s.
Day 1 of our last tour one of the headphones on my intercom went pop, (new set purchased and fitted 👍)
Day 3 of the tour the sat nav started playing up, wouldn’t charge and kept cutting out ( new one ordered)
Day 7 of the tour, my bike felt lumpy and sluggish and then wouldn’t start.
Back home it went into Inmotion for a diagnostic test and sadly it’s very poorly as you can see by the photo.
All the valves are coked up along with other issues.
Following communication with Yamaha it’s likely that this has been caused by E10 fuel so careful what you use. I would recommend sticking to 95.
Massive thank you to Pete and team at Inmotion who are working hard to get her back home and have offered a loan bike for our next tour in 10 days time if she’s not ready 😎🇯🇪

Day 6 of Tour 2 and we started the day with a visit to Oradour sur Glane. Even after numerous visits it’s still hard to comprehend the devastation humans can cause.
We then headed north to Angers covering just over 300 miles and temperatures reaching 40 degrees. Another great day 😎🇯🇪
