Morning Jersey RC Car drivers
The sun is out!! :)
Tomorrow we are back at Le Quenevais from 11am to 2pm on our 1/10th Outdoor Off-Road Track area.
Note: We've been asked to operate in our marked 'zone', so please be aware of this and not run on other areas. We are also aware of some cars running into the pitting area, a bit too quickly. Tomorrow we will nominate a 'stop area', so their is no confusion about where the pits start / end. This is no different to how F1 operates.
Their are a lot of activities going on at Le Quenevais tomorrow with the carpark possibly ending up full, and with the weather looking good too for walkers and cyclists in general, therefore we recommend Drivers turn up earlier to avoid the frustration this can cause. Just be aware and allow yourself enough time
We'll be up from around 9am to hopefully help with this
Buggy set ups: We get asked by budding members about set information for their vehicles (and also from the general public). Whilst it is great to give this out at the end of the day, the real benefit is making the changes on the day, whilst you are running around. That way you'll see the effects in real time, and especially against your mates. Even if a problem is found, a solution and parts can be ordered, ready for next time
So, if you are looking to fine tune and dial your buggies in, bring everything relating to that vehicle up with you. The tools, oils, springs, pistons, and ESC program cards if you have them :)
Sometimes it is just tweaks, and other times it might require going back a step or two before you go forwards
Their is a wealth of experience on site covering all levels, so just ask
Ball diffs / geared diffs / bearings: These are the areas to get right for smooth transitions around the track, so an important aspect to get right
See you all then, and hopefully you'll all have a fun day!! :)
Oh, and bring water and sun screen!!
