Evening Jersey RC Drivers :)

After a pretty wet and misty start to a Sunday morning, and the disruption to our RC Fun over the weekend, we are pleased to announce that we have re-booked with Le Quenevais Sports Centre for Sunday 2nd August!! :)

So the weekend ahead, is looking to be dry and warm, so all being well, we will have an 11am start and finish by 2pm, and with a track build between 10am -11am

Hope to see you all there for plenty of practice and RC fun times

As usual, experienced help is on hand to get those last extra 10ths on your mates, or loose extra seconds, if you're still a beginner

All 1/0th Off Road Buggies Catered for: 2wd, 4wd and Trucks, Modern or Vintage running, running a 2S Lipo. Open motor choice, but most opt for a 13.5T motor for 2wd, and a 10.5T for 4wd. More than quick enough for our grass track. These are the core motor sizes for JMCC competitions

A reminder will be posted up Saturday night, just to make sure the weather is 'playing ball' for Sunday

Evening RC Drivers

Sunday 26th July looks like a good day for running RC Cars, but we're a bit unsure of the weather atm

so, it looks like we may have some moisture overnight, and it should be clear by 11am

The Le Quenevais outdoor sports track is very dry atm, and with a sand base to the surface, it should drain quite quickly, AND the air and temperature is warm, even if we were to start a bit later, eg: 11:30am

So, we'll see you at 10:30am to start track building, and run from 11:30am

Always help on hand to help you get the best out of your hobby, and your 1/10th electric Buggies.

Evening RC Drivers

Sunday 12th July brings another FAB day for running RC Cars :)

After a great weekend testing, last week, we are back up at Le Quenevais to run RC

Running from 11am to 2pm, and setting up from 10am. The quicker we set up, the more run time we have for everyone :)

We will be putting up the Gazebos, to help protect against the strong sun, and to keep drivers and Lipos covered

Bring water and sun screen, and take breaks

If you are considering Running RC cars, pay us a visit. The JMCC is a 1/10th Radio Controlled Model Car Club / Group. We cover Buggies, Trucks, 2wd, 4wd, Rally cars and Touring cars. All electric

Plenty of help on hand to fine tune your vehicles and get to the top for your chosen class

A great day at the JMCC 'test' day in Le Quenevais, to make up for the wet weekend,last week

lot's of vintage running around!!

And plenty of setting up too 👍

Afternoon RC Drivers

Midweek update: With the change of weather over last weekend and the abrupt halt to running on Sunday 28th June, the committee have been able to secure another run spot for Sunday 5th July at Le Les Quennevais Sports Centre, on our outdoor grass track, from 11am - 2pm, with set up around 10am.

This might also work well for those wishing to attend / visit the JMAC display on the 12th July, but we will still retain this slot on the 12th July as well

So, if you enjoyed last weekend, or missed it, or had to stop mid session due to the weather, then the weekend is again looking FAB :) and looks to be the start of another hot spell going into next week

So, again, set up help, training and close running and a laugh too

A couple of members were asking about tyre gluing jigs

These can be 3D printed, or if sufficient interest, we can get a few made up through one of the members contacts

Morning Jersey RC Car drivers

The sun is out again, but the heat has dropped off!! 🙂

Tomorrow we are back at Le Quenevais from 11am to 2pm on our 1/10th Outdoor Off-Road Track area.

Parking should be a bit easier tomorrow too, so normal set-up around 10am

We'll try a new 'out of the box' layout, and see what the feed back is like too

If you are still looking to fine tune and dial in your buggies, bring everything along relating to that vehicle, including tools, oils, springs, pistons, and ESC program cards if you have them 🙂

See you all then, and hopefully you'll all have a fun day!! 🙂

Oh, and bring plenty water, sun screen and a hat!! :)
