🍄Mycelium leather, flax biocomposites, waste-oil foams: the new frontier of premium seating — and what it means for those who manufacture it.

🔬For decades, automotive luxury was measured in grams of bovine leather and centimetres of rare wood. In 2026, that metric is changing. Premium OEMs — from BMW to Mercedes, from Porsche to Audi — are integrating bio-based and lab-grown materials into their production lines. Not as a trend, but in response to regulatory pressure, evolving customer expectations, and ESG commitments that can no longer be postponed.

Those who manufacture premium seats and interiors need to understand this transition before it becomes a mandatory requirement.

Eccellenza e Valori: Un nuovo "Maestro del Lavoro" in Clerprem. 🎖️

Siamo profondamente orgogliosi di annunciare che il nostro Direttore di Stabilimento e Operations, è stato insignito della Stella al Merito del Lavoro 2026.

La cerimonia si è svolta lo scorso 1° maggio nella solenne cornice del Teatro Toniolo di Mestre, dove il Prefetto di Venezia e le massime autorità regionali hanno consegnato l’onorificenza concessa dal Presidente della Repubblica.

Essere un "Maestro del Lavoro" significa distinguersi per perizia, laboriosità e condotta morale. Per noi di Clerprem, questo riconoscimento consegnato a Francesco è la più alta conferma della dedizione e della passione che ogni giorno mette nel suo lavoro di eccellenza nel settore manifatturiero.

When University meets Industry - Shaping the Digital Future of Manufacturing 🚀

What happens when you open your company’s doors to the next generation of university students? At Clerprem, we decided to find out.

During the first quarter of 2026, Clerprem turned it's headquarters into a living laboratory for the students of the Management of Digital Company & Platform module at the of Padova di Scienze Economiche e Aziendali.
This wasn't just a classroom exercise. It was a high-stakes challenge: "How does a complex Tier 1 manufacturing company evolve within the digital economy and the era of AI?"

A huge thank you to Professor Ganzaroli for his guidance, and to our dedicated Team Clerprem for their mentorship and openness.

We believe that reducing the gap between Uni and the real business world is a collective responsibility. At Clerprem, we aren't just watching the future happen—we are building it together with the talent of tomorrow.
