We are proud to have been honored with the 2026 Prêmio AEA ESG in the Technological and Environmental Innovation category for the project “High-Efficiency Ethanol and Biomethane Bi-Fuel Engine for Light Commercial Vehicles.”
Presented on June 9 in São Paulo by the Brazilian Association of Automotive Engineering (AEA), this award recognizes our efforts to expand the use of renewable fuels in urban transportation and accelerate the decarbonization of commercial mobility in Brazil.

Developed in collaboration with MAHLE, the Federal University of Itajubá, São Paulo State University, and the Federal University of Pará, the F1C Bi-Fuel engine is designed to enhance energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and improve operational viability through technologies tailored to the Brazilian market.

This recognition marks an important milestone in our commitment to developing innovative technologies that support multiple energy pathways while delivering solutions that combine performance, operational efficiency, and a reduced carbon footprint.

We are set to revolutionize powdered milk production in Algeria alongside our partners Bimotor SpA and Avoni Industrial, together with GREEN POWER - Generators, by powering the irrigation systems behind the world’s largest dairy facility – part of one of North Africa’s largest agro-industrial projects.

Spanning 117,000 hectares of desert agricultural land dedicated to feeding 270,000 dairy cows, this landmark initiative is part of a project expected to cover approximately 50% of Algeria’s national milk powder demand, marking a major step toward self-sufficiency.

At the core of the project is a continuous irrigation system designed to cultivate Saharan land, transforming desert landscapes into productive farmland. In this critical operation, 50 GP330 S/I-A generator sets, supplied by Green Power Systems and powered by FPT CURSOR 13 engines, play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted performance.

In such extreme environments, reliable and continuous power is essential. FPT-powered generator sets ensure operations run smoothly, delivering efficiency, durability, and high performance.

We are proud to be part of this landmark project, contributing to Algeria’s food security goals.

We are proud to announce that we are among the first three European high-voltage battery manufacturers to achieve certification under European Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 – the Battery Regulation.

Conducted by TÜV SÜD Denmark ApS, DANAK, and Accredia, the certification audit covered the complete design, development, and manufacturing process of the eBS 37 EVO – our modular 37 kWh battery pack developed for light commercial vehicles, minibuses, and leisure marine applications.

This prestigious certification marks yet another important milestone in our journey toward sustainable mobility, underscoring our commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance electrification solutions that meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.

Our behind-the-scenes look at Dakar continues. Following manufacturing, the engine is meticulously refined at our R&D Center in Arbon, Switzerland, where every detail is perfected.

From marine injectors and specialized lubrication systems to high-performance turbochargers, the CURSOR 13 engine for Dakar is built to take on the treacherous dunes and extreme conditions of the world’s toughest rally.
