Ferrari 512 BB — Engine Restoration

At the heart of the Ferrari 512 BB lies one of Maranello’s most distinctive engines: the 4.9-litre, 180-degree V12, an architecture derived from Ferrari’s experience with flat-12 racing engines and a defining element of the Berlinetta Boxer lineage.

Restoring such an engine requires far more than simply replacing worn components.

Following complete disassembly, every critical component is carefully inspected, cleaned and measured. Cylinder bores, pistons, crankshaft journals, connecting rods, bearing clearances, valve guides and seats are checked against the correct tolerances to establish the true condition of the engine before any machining or rebuilding begins.

Each measurement determines the next step. Components that can be preserved are restored and retained; those outside specification are repaired or replaced. Particular attention is given to dimensional accuracy, surface finishes, clearances and the correct assembly of every internal component.

The objective is not to reinvent the original engine, but to restore its mechanical integrity, performance and character with the level of precision such an important piece of Ferrari engineering deserves.

OF-8C M-008

Officine Fioravanti is proud to present the OF 8C M 008, a one-of-one interpretation of the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, where engineering excellence meets bespoke craftsmanship.

At the heart of the transformation lies our signature six-speed manual gearbox, replacing the original automated transmission and restoring the pure mechanical connection between driver and machine. The result of years of engineering and the development of hundreds of newly designed components, it represents the highest expression of our vision for the Alfa Romeo 8C.

A dedicated suspension system and bespoke setup, delivering greater precision, confidence and balance while improving the unmistakable character of the original car.

The exterior is completed by a new set of ultralight forged wheels, while a bespoke green soft top has been created to perfectly complement one of the most exclusive interiors ever fitted to an Officine Fioravanti 8C.

The cabin has been entirely personalized using our monocoque carbon fiber seats, and using the finest green leather combined with ostrich leather, creating a unique environment where luxury, attention to detail and Italian craftsmanship reach the highest standards.
