La RX-7 FD3S di Alberto Pini e Pure Exhaust torna alla Magione SuperBattle per la sua terza partecipazione, ma questa volta lo fa in una forma profondamente evoluta.

Il motore è un 26B quad-rotor, una soluzione rara, estrema e decisamente lontana dalla RX-7 birotore single turbo che Max Orido è abituato a guidare. Anche per questo, vederlo al volante di questa vettura sarà uno dei momenti più interessanti di Circuit Legends 2026.

L’auto è stata alleggerita in modo radicale: via ABS, via power steering, via tutto ciò che non serve quando l’unico obiettivo è fermare il cronometro il prima possibile.

Alberto punta a un 1’18 alto.

Ora resta solo da vedere cosa succede quando questa FD3S incontra Magione, il SuperBattle e il piede destro di Max Orido.

Alberto Pini and Pure Exhaust’s RX-7 FD3S returns to Magione SuperBattle for its third appearance, but this time in a deeply evolved form.

At its heart is a 26B quad-rotor, a rare and extreme setup, very different from the twin-rotor single-turbo RX-7 Max Orido is used to driving. That alone makes this one of the most interesting combinations of Circuit Legends 2026.

The car has been radically lightened: no ABS, no power steering, nothing left onboard unless it serves one purpose — lap time.

Alberto is aiming for a high 1:18.

Now we just have to see what happens when this FD3S meets Magione, SuperBattle, and Max Orido’s right foot.

Si tratta della RX-7 FD3S di e Pure Exhaust, preparata da , una vettura già ben conosciuta nel mondo SuperBattle, pronta alla sua terza partecipazione ma profondamente evoluta rispetto al passato.

Il cuore è un 26B quadrotor da 518 CV. Il peso è sceso a 1.240 kg grazie a un lavoro radicale di alleggerimento, con la rimozione di ABS, power steering e tutto ciò che non serve nella caccia al tempo.

Sarà interessante vedere come Max Orido interpreterà una RX-7 così diversa da quelle a cui è abituato, solitamente birotore single turbo.

Il target dichiarato da Alberto? Un 1’18 alto.

A settembre, a Magione, scopriremo fin dove può arrivare.

Italian SuperBattle and Pure Exhaust are pleased to present the car Max Orido will drive at Magione SuperBattle: Circuit Legends 2026.

It is the RX-7 FD3S built by Alberto Pini and Pure Exhaust, a car already well known in the SuperBattle world, now heading into its third appearance with major developments.

At its heart is a 518 hp 26B quad-rotor. Weight is down to 1,240 kg thanks to an extensive lightening process, including the removal of ABS, power steering and everything not needed in the pursuit of lap time.

It will be interesting to see how Max Orido adapts to an RX-7 so different from what he is used to, usually a twin-rotor single-turbo car.

Alberto’s target? A high 1:18.
