7.000 miglia nautiche. Da Palermo all’Argentina. A bordo di uno Stingher 32 GT, costruito nel nostro cantiere di Presicce, in Salento. ⚓

Il comandante Sergio Davì parte per la South America Rib Adventure: circa tre mesi di navigazione attraverso il Mediterraneo e l’Atlantico, per una missione che unisce avventura, scienza e cultura.

🌊 A bordo, strumenti per campionare le acque e studiare l’inquinamento da microplastiche. Il progetto ha il patrocinio dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo ed è realizzato in collaborazione con ATeN Center.
⚽ All’arrivo in Sudamerica è previsto uno scambio di maglie calcistiche, con il patrocinio del Palermo FC: lo sport come ponte tra Italia e Argentina.
🛥️ Lo Stingher 32 GT è stato adattato alla spedizione, con due serbatoi da 1.500 litri per aumentare l’autonomia di navigazione.

Siamo orgogliosi di vedere un gommone nato nel nostro cantiere affrontare una sfida di questa portata. 🇮🇹

7,000 nautical miles. From Palermo to Argentina. Aboard a Stingher 32 GT, built at our shipyard in Presicce, Salento, Italy. ⚓

Captain Sergio Davì sets off on the South America Rib Adventure: around three months at sea across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, on a mission that brings together adventure, science and culture.

🌊 On board, water-sampling equipment to study microplastic pollution. The project is supported by the University of Palermo and carried out in collaboration with ATeN Center.
⚽ On arrival in South America, a football shirt exchange is planned, with the support of Palermo FC: sport as a bridge between Italy and Argentina.
🛥️ The Stingher 32 GT has been adapted for the expedition, with two 1,500-litre fuel tanks to extend its range.

We’re proud to see a RIB built in our shipyard take on a challenge of this scale. 🇮🇹
