Here is Last update at RLC workshop based on the iconic paint scheme of ‘Speedway of Acton’ London.

Picchio’ SX225 is now finished and fotoshooted. On the road for a proper Picchio riding-style running in, the scooter is not gonna be hidden but “Sigh” hardly ridden.

We’ve been told that he spent the summer learning how to keep the scooter clean and tidy…
That’s a bit of good news.

A Massive-Massive thanks to the Swiss Tony Spares crew to Marie and Carlos and all involved for the brilliant weekend during their 10th Anivversay open day.

A flat-out Saturday at their shop, a well setup place with lot of original Innocenti spares and memorabilia parts, lot of fun with top DJs spinning the best of Soul-Funk-Disco and 60s groove, also JG Scooters dynoing all day with unespected results!!!
Been nice catching up with many RLC customers, also some from the early days too, scooterboys and parts-fair friends from all over UK, that’s a good spot for all of us being part of the Lambretta community.

Another award reached by RLC shop with TollazziDue restoration and again all the efforts we put on our works that’s a priceless satisfaction.

•••Minioctopus road testing on the extra miles•••
While Dean and young Leo were at RLC workshop for their final check on their Lambretta J135 and J105 scooters before setting off to the IOW Scooter Rally we’ve come up with the usual ‘Last Minute’ brilliant idea.
Why don’t we fit the Minioctopus on Leo’s Lambretta?
Infact as everyone knows all our CP products always have been tested hard on the road like we did with the first 5 CP135 kits from Rimini to Kalkar (D), the same with our CP105, the Vega5 speed gearbox and before with the Octopus rear hub, the Cyclone5 gearbox the SSR265 and so on…
So now Leo is proud to be the next generation of lambretta riders who’s going to test the ‘extra miles’ on a new CP product during his journey from IOW Scooter Rally to Italy back on A roads.
That’s a chance for all of us to confirm the reability of the CP products and the upgrades of the Innocenti and SIL components.

Next on the bench this ‘58 Li150 ‘framebreather’ while the summer is in full swing.

We are trying to preserve as much as possible the original Grigio Fiume 8014 paintjob which is very good on the front legshield, front mudguard, horncast with the dealer decal although there will be a lot to do stopping the heavy rust and take it to his former glory. In the hands of our Gardo it will certainly be a very good result matching the original paint and preserve it for the next 60 years.

The engine will be restored to the original spec, early type barrel and piston, thicker kickstart and original 6V points ignition.

The original Innocenti rims OEB stamped, threaded side panel badges, the single seats with the tipical passenger handle are also the details on the very early S1 models….
