1. Diesel injector: The injector's role is to inject the fuel (usually diesel) in the form of fine droplets directly into the combustion chamber under high pressure. Thanks to this atomization, the fuel mixes better with the compressed air, promoting cleaner and more efficient combustion. Modern injectors are often electronically controlled to inject the precise amount of fuel at the optimal time.

2. High-pressure pump: The high-pressure pump is responsible for pressurizing the fuel. In a common rail system, it pushes the fuel into the common rail at a very high pressure, sometimes reaching several thousand bars. This high pressure is essential for the injector to be able to spray the fuel evenly into the combustion chamber.
