ᴵᵀ Non siamo mai spariti.

Ci siamo sempre stati, ininterrottamente da 130 anni. A Lavagna dal 1946.

Siamo sempre rimasti al nostro posto, pronti ad accogliere a braccia aperte tutti gli armatori che in questi anni ci hanno affidato le loro barche e, con esse, le loro storie e il loro tempo, legati a uno stile di vita in armonia con il mare e, forse, chissà, con l'universo stesso.

Con questa consapevolezza ce ne siamo presi cura; le abbiamo restaurate, preservando proprio quell'autenticità che, oltre a restituire valore alle imbarcazioni, custodisce un patrimonio di storie intrecciate negli anni di navigazione.

Sì, siamo ancora qui.

E come facciamo da 130 anni, continuiamo a costruire, restaurare, progettare e, soprattutto, a custodire una tradizione ereditata e tramandata con amore, la stessa che ha plasmato l'anima delle nostre barche.

Grazie a tutti gli armatori che ci hanno sempre accordato la loro fiducia.

E grazie anche a chi, con un Coup de Coeur, ha riconosciuto tutto questo.

For 130 years. In Lavagna since 1946.

We have remained at our post, welcoming with open arms all the owners who, over the years, have entrusted us with their yachts and, with them, their stories and their time, tied to a way of life in harmony with the sea, with time and with the quiet wisdom they teach.

Mindful of this, we have cared for these yachts, restoring them while preserving the authenticity that, beyond adding value to the vessels themselves, safeguards a heritage of stories woven through years of navigation.

Yes, we are still here.

And as we have done for 130 years, we continue to build, restore, design and, above all, preserve a tradition inherited and passed on with love — the very tradition that has shaped the soul of our yachts.

Our thanks go to all the owners who have placed their trust in us throughout the years.

And thanks also to those who, through a Coup de Coeur, have recognized all of this.

Dopo tanti anni, Guia 2000 ha varcato nuovamente la soglia dei Cantieri Sangermani.

Per noi è stata una grande gioia rivederla e conoscere i suoi giovani armatori: ragazzi pieni di entusiasmo ed energia. Ma ciò che più ci ha colpito è stato il rispetto che hanno dimostrato per la sua storia, una storia che li ha portati a sceglierla e a prendersene cura.

Guia 2000 è una delle imbarcazioni che hanno segnato un'epoca, dominando i campi di regata negli anni Ottanta con Giorgio Falck, ma è anche e soprattutto il simbolo di ciò che può nascere quando un armatore, un progettista e un cantiere condividono la stessa visione e hanno il coraggio di osare.

Una visione pionieristica che ha dato vita a una barca capace di anticipare il proprio tempo, di sfidare le convinzioni più radicate e di lasciare un segno nella storia della vela, nonostante i più scettici la definissero una barca "usa e getta".

A distanza di oltre quarant'anni, Guia 2000 continua a navigare e a testimoniare che le idee più coraggiose, quando sono sostenute da competenza, passione e determinazione, possono attraversare il tempo e diventare fonte di ispirazione.

E adesso Guia si gode due coccole nel Cantiere in cui è nata!

After many years, Guia 2000 has once again crossed the threshold of Sangermani Shipyards.

It has been a great pleasure for us to see her again and to meet her young owners: sailors full of enthusiasm and energy. Yet what impressed us most was the respect they have shown for her history—a history that led them to choose her, cherish her and take care of her.

Guia 2000 is one of those yachts that defined an era, dominating the racing scene throughout the 1980s under Giorgio Falck. But above all, she is a symbol of what can be achieved when an owner, a designer and a shipyard share the same vision and have the courage to dare..

That pioneering vision gave birth to a yacht capable of anticipating her time, challenging deeply rooted beliefs and leaving a lasting mark on sailing history, despite being dismissed by some skeptics as a “disposable yacht”.

More than forty years later, Guia 2000 continues to sail, proving that the boldest ideas, when supported by skill, passion and determination, can endure the test of time and become an inspiration.

And now Guia is enjoying a little TLC at the shipyard where she was born.

Cantieri Sangermani ringrazia la Marina Militare per aver concesso il patrocinio al Raduno Sangermani organizzato in occasione del 130° anniversario del cantiere, nell’ambito delle Grandi Regate Internazionali di Sanremo.

La presenza della Marina Militare, rappresentata dal Contrammiraglio Roberto Bottazzi Schenone, Direttore dell’Ufficio Vela del Reparto Affari Generali dello Stato Maggiore, ha significato per noi un momento di particolare valore, non soltanto istituzionale, ma profondamente simbolico.

Da molti anni, infatti, la Marina custodisce e mantiene in piena attività di navigazione importanti imbarcazioni storiche, tra cui alcune nostre costruzioni: Artica II, Chaplin e Stella Polare.

Un patrimonio che continua così a vivere nel mare, testimoniando ancora oggi l’eccellenza del saper fare italiano che, grazie a una straordinaria cultura del mare, è in grado di coniugare bellezza, maestria e tecnica.

Inoltre, momenti come questi ricordano quanto il mare possa essere ancora oggi un volano per uno stile di vita ispirato a valori profondi come spirito di squadra, disciplina e rispetto, il tutto accompagnato da quella elegante convivialità capace di unire mondi, storie e generazioni diverse.

…ma soprattutto grazie a voi, armatori ed equipaggi delle nostre Sangermani.

Siete voi che, con passione, dedizione e determinazione, avete reso tutto questo possibile.
Siete voi che continuate a raccontare un modo di vivere il mare lontano dal rumore, nel silenzio.

Un mondo dove il vero lusso è saper aspettare il vento senza fretta, ed essere pronti a prenderlo quando si avvicina.
Uno stile capace di attraversare il tempo.

Guardandovi a bordo delle Sangermani, i vostri occhi non riflettevano il mare: erano, ognuno con la propria luce, il mare.

È stato bello ritrovarsi lungo quella linea gialla che disegna lo scafo delle nostre barche e nei tre puntini che guardano l’orizzonte.

Watching you aboard your Sangermani, your eyes were not reflecting the sea — each of you, in your own way, was the sea.

It was a joy to meet again along that yellow line running across our hulls, ending in the three dots looking toward the horizon.
