For the second year in a row, welcomed a group of Executive MBA students from ESSEC Business School, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, to our headquarters in Colzate.

🧵 The visit offered students the opportunity to discover 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, gaining firsthand insight into our company, our weaving machines, and the manufacturing processes behind them.

From an introduction to Itema's global operations to a closer look at our weaving machines in action, the experience concluded with a guided tour of our production facilities, offering a comprehensive overview of our industrial expertise.

Last Saturday, Itema took part in 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮 through , our innovation hub, during the Open Labs.
BergamoScienza is a science festival dedicated to making science and technology accessible and engaging for everyone – and this time, our engineers had the pleasure of sharing their passion with some very curious young minds.

Using small toy looms, children and families discovered 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗽 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

For our Itemalab engineers, it was a special opportunity to step out of the lab and show the next generation how mechanics, electronics, software, and mechatronics can come together to transform an idea into innovation.
