L’isola di Garda è la più grande isola del lago omonimo, rientrante amministrativamente nel territorio comunale di San Felice del Benaco.
In origine ospitava un dormitorio francescano poi convertito in monastero, mentre dal 1817 è diventata una residenza privata, in un primo momento della famiglia Lechi di Brescia, poi, a partire dal 1870, del duca Gaetano de Ferrari di Genova e dei suoi eredi, che l’hanno aperta ai turisti nel 2002.

Isola di Garda is the largest island on Lake Garda and administratively belongs to the municipality of San Felice del Benaco.
Originally, it was home to a Franciscan dormitory that was later converted into a monastery. Since 1817, it has been a private residence, first owned by the Lechi family of Brescia and, from 1870 onwards, by Duke Gaetano de Ferrari of Genoa and his heirs, who opened the island to visitors in 2002.

Isola di Garda ist die größte Insel im Gardasee und gehört verwaltungstechnisch zur Gemeinde San Felice del Benaco.
Ursprünglich befand sich dort ein franziskanisches Wohnhaus, das später in ein Kloster umgewandelt wurde. Seit 1817 dient die Insel als Privatresidenz: zunächst im Besitz der Familie Lechi aus Brescia, ab 1870 dann im Eigentum des Herzogs Gaetano de Ferrari von Genua und seiner Erben, die die Insel im Jahr 2002 für Besucher öffneten.
