🇺🇸 Montreal Motorsport Group's LP Montour & Karl Wittmer remain in IMPC TCR title contention after a fourth-place finish in a race of changing track conditions at Road America. The duo were one of four Honda Civic Type R TCR crews in the race. Tim Lewis Jr & Rocco Pasquarella (KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering) were sixth with Riley & Larry Pegram (Pegram Racing) a career-best seventh and Chad Gilsinger & Tyler Chambers eighth HART).

POLE!👊

🇺🇸 Louis Philippe Montour scored another IMPC TCR pole position for Montreal Motorsport Group at Road America in the Civic Type R TCR he shares with Karl Wittmer. Rocco Pasquarella (Tim Lewis Jr) completed a Honda one-two for KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering. Pegram Racing’s Riley Pegram (Larry Pegram) and HART’s Tyler Chambers (Chad Gilsinger) start 13th and 14th.

DOUBLE CHAMPIONS!

And title #129 for the Honda Civic Type R TCR.

🇧🇷 Leonel Pernia and Honda Racing clinched the TCR Brasil Drivers’ and Teams’ crowns 🏆 at the Velocitta season finale with a podium finish. Pernia’s result was also fourth-best of the TCR South America contenders, increasing his series lead. Tiago Pernia and Nelson Piquet Jr were seventh and eighth (fourth and fifth in Brasil) with Adrian Chiriano 🏆 winning the Trophy class.

🇯🇵 M&K Racing’s Mitsuhiro Endo, Tomoki Nojri & Ren Sato won 🏆 the ST-TCR class from pole position at Autopolis, while the Hitonowa The Team Standard Civic of Yosuke Yamaki, Yuto Nomura, Shinji Nakano and Rintaro Sato

🇮🇹 🏆 MM Motorsport’s Marco Pellegrini made it a clean sweep in the TCR Italy Master class at Mugello with a second-place finish overall.

WINS AND POLES!

🇧🇷 Honda Racing’s Tiago Pernia took advantage of a bad start by his pole-sitting Honda Racing team-mate Nelson Piquet Jr to win 🏆 TCR South America/TCR Brasil Race 1 at Velocitta with father Leonel in third and Piquet fifth. Honda Racing lead the Teams’ points in both series while Leonel Pernia is just three points from the Brasil lead with the season finale tomorrow to go. Adrian Chiriano was second in the Trophy class.

🇮🇹 MM Motorsport driver Marco Pellegrini scored a Master class win 🏆 in third place overall as TCR Italy continued at Mugello.

🇯🇵 M&K Racing’s Mitsuhiro Endo, Tomoki Nojri & Ren Sato took pole position in Super Taikyu’s ST-TCR class at Autopolis. The Hitonowa TTS squad of Shinji Nakano, Yosuke Yamaki, Rintaro Sato and Yuto Nomura were close behind.

Pole on a Friday!

🇮🇹 MM Motorsport driver Marco Pellegrini took Master class pole position in TCR Italy at Mugello and started sixth overall for Saturday's opening race.

🇧🇷 Honda Racing dominated practice day in TCR South America at Velocitta - which doubles up as the final round of TCR Brasil. Nelson Piquet Jr was fastest in FP2 and overall while team-mate Leonel Pernia headed FP1 and was followed in the TCR Brasil rankings by Piquet and Tiago Pernia in a Honda 1-2-3. Adrian Chiriano topped the Trophy class for both series in FP2.

Wishing one of our all-time favourite drivers, Tiago Monteiro, a very happy 5️⃣0️⃣th birthday 🎁🎉🎂.

We first worked with Tiago - Portugal's only F1 podium finisher - in 2012 when we were appointed to create and run Honda's FIA World Touring Car Championship team with the new Civic WTCC. He gave the car its first WTCC podium on only its third race weekend, and won seven times in various iterations of the car.

In 10 years racing JAS cars, he was also a race winner in Civic Type R TCRs in the FIA WTCR, TCR Benelux and TCR International - the last named coming at the Macau Guia Race in 2016.

Half a season down, Leonel Pernia leads the Civic Type R TCR winners’ list with 5️⃣ victories so far in 2026 in TCR South America and TCR Brasil. Rodrigo Pflucker (TCR Panama), and JAS Development Drivers Ramiro Zago (TCR Italy) and Jenson O'Neill-Going have 2️⃣ each.
