IndianOil is deeply saddened by the tragic and untimely demise of our colleague, Shri Mahesh Shelke, Field Officer, Nanded North RSA, who lost his life in a shocking incident while discharging his official duties.

A bright and promising Sales Officer, Shri Shelke was a dedicated professional whose commitment and sincerity had earned him the respect of his colleagues. His untimely passing is an irreparable loss to his family and a profound loss to the IndianOil family.

At this hour of immense grief, IndianOil stands firmly with his bereaved family and is extending all possible support to them. The Corporation has taken up the matter with the concerned authorities.

We mourn the loss of a valued colleague whose life and career have been cut short far too soon.

Our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and loved ones.

Energy security is a priority for India, and biofuels are becoming an important part of the country’s fuel mix.

The Government of India has been building this ecosystem through initiatives such as the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme, the National Policy on Biofuels, PM JI-VAN for advanced biofuels, and GOBARdhan for compressed biogas. These programmes are helping expand domestic feedstocks, advanced biofuel production and waste-to-energy pathways.

That opportunity runs across the value chain. Agricultural residues, waste, sugars and oils move through conversion technologies into usable fuels. Producers process, blend and store them. Logistics networks move them. Transport and industrial users create demand at the other end.
