Designed and built in Austria, the KTM RC16 is potent to challenge
MotoGP’s toughest combatants across the world.
The RC16 engine has a V4 configuration; with two cylinders facing
forward towards the front wheel and two cylinders facing up.
When the RC16 lines up on the grid, it will be the only machine to run a
steel tubular trellis frame. Steel tubular trellis frames not only win races
for KTM in Moto3, Motocross, Enduro and Rally, but they also win the
daily races of KTM’s customers – no matter the ride (Duke / RC).
The RC16 has a 1000cc V-twin, 4 cylinder motor churning out 250hp+
@19000 rpm. This has a kerb weight of just 158kg staying true to KTM’s
highest power to weight ratio proposition.
One can experience the advanced KTM’s engineering on all street models
of KTMs – Duke / RC / Adventure.

International media & the motorcycling communities across the world are going crazy over KTM’s historic win at the .
This is what they have to say:
“MotoGP history-maker Binder: ‘This is insane!’” – Motor Sport Magazine
“South African rookie Binder wins Czech MotoGP on 'insane' bike” – Times Of India
“This marks the first time before professional factory teams entered the ranks of MotoGP, or before that, in the 500 cc World Championship, that
the top three podium places were taken by non-factory riders in privateer teams.” – Paultan
“Honda may believe in the power of dreams, but at KTM the approach is much more practical. In 2017, when the Austrian brand first decided to
re-enter the MotoGP series, it had a crystal-clear plan in place. And in the light of rookie Brad Binder’s first-ever MotoGP victory at Brno—piloting
a KTM RC16—the plan now looks impressive for its prescience.” – Cycle World
“Binder dominated the Brno race on Sunday by 5.2 seconds to take a sensational debut victory for himself and KTM in MotoGP.
The Austrian manufacturer came into the premier class in 2017, scoring a podium in a wet Valencia race in 2018, and started the 2020 campaign
aiming for dry rostrum results on its improved RC16.” - AutoSport
