Maruti Suzuki started Nexa Showrooms in Surat to sell its premium cars including premium hatchback baleno and sedan S-Cross. These Showrooms have been launched with an aim to target premium customers having a budget of 8 lakhs or more. This Market Segment is currently occupied by Honda, Hyundai and Toyota. Majority of the cars sold by Maruti Suzuki are of low price cars with Maruti Alto 800 and Maruti Wagon R leading the race. Currently Nexa showrooms are offering Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and soon some other cars will be available through these premium showrooms. Bread and Butter cars like Alto 800 and Swift will be available in same old dealerships of Maruti Suzuki. The Nexa showrooms have a separate range of cars from those available from the main Maruti Suzuki dealerships. More than 100 Nexa showrooms have been started within 1 year and soon these Showrooms will be available in other parts of the country.
