Driverless Cars Hit British Streets

* Driverless vehicles carrying passengers took to Britain’s streets
for the first time in a landmark trial which could pave the way for
their introduction across the country.

* It is the first time that a self-driving vehicle has been tested in a
public place in Britain.

* The “Selenium” autonomy software running the vehicle & is
developed by Oxford University’s Oxford Robotics Institute.

Ivory Coast Approve Constitution Draft

* Ivory Coast’s national assembly has approved the draft of a new
constitution by President Alassane Ouattara to ease nationality
rules.

* The new proposals soften the nationality clause that both parents
of presidential candidates must be native-born Ivorians.

* It had been used by Ouattara’s opponents to bar him from
elections.

* The new constitution will now be presented before people in a
referendum.
