Position: Estimation Engineer
Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 5–7 years of experience in the Power Distribution/Railway/EPC sector. The ideal candidate should have experience handling projects worth ₹100 Crores and above, with advanced MS Excel proficiency and expertise in preparing and managing complex BOQs consisting of 400–1000 line items.

Key Responsibilities

• Design BOQs and provide technical inputs during the pre-tendering stage in coordination with the Business Development team.
• Perform technical, financial, and cost analysis of tenders.
• Float enquiries and coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Maintain estimation documentation, registers, and project records.
• Prepare and share the Estimation Calendar with the Estimation Manager.
• Maintain system records for audits and coordinate with the Systems Manager.
• Participate in at least 8 technical training sessions annually.
• Prepare BOQs for lump-sum tenders.
• Maintain and update databases for material pricing, vendor details, subcontractors, and previously quoted tenders.
• Conduct competitor analysis and support strategic bidding activities.

✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Advanced MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
✔ Tendering & Business Development knowledge
✔ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔ Strong negotiation skills
✔ Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
✔ Goal-oriented with a proactive approach

Experience

📌 5–7 years of relevant industry experience.

Qualification

🎓 Graduate Engineer (Electrical/Civil) with an MBA (preferred).
🎓 Candidates with an EPC background and experience working with large teams are preferred.
