🚀 SecLayer v0.9.1 is here!

Since launching SecLayer in public beta, we’ve been listening closely to feedback from server administrators and hosting providers.

Today, we’re shipping v0.9.1, with three important improvements:

🛡️ cPanel Support
SecLayer can now protect cPanel servers, making it easier for hosting providers to add server-level security and firewall protection to their existing infrastructure.

⏱️ Temporary Allow/Deny IP Rules
Need to allow an IP for a few hours? Or block a suspicious IP for 24 hours?

You can now set an expiration time for IP rules, so temporary access doesn’t turn into a permanent firewall rule.

⚙️ Configurable DDoS Protection
DDoS protection is no longer based on fixed values.

Administrators can now configure things like:
• Check Interval
• Ban Time
• Connection Limit
• Detection thresholds
• Other protection parameters

This makes it possible to tune SecLayer for different environments—from high-traffic websites and APIs to hosting and enterprise servers.

And this is just the beginning.

We’re continuing to build SecLayer based on real-world feedback from people managing Linux servers every day.
