*ENGINE HYDROLOCK* - When the water enters the engine through the air intake or filter, the pistons inside the engine compress water the same way it compresses air & fuel . So the water inside the engine will stop pistons from moving causing big misfire and immediately bending the valves of the cylinder head & connecting rods.
*WHAT'S THE RIGHT WAY* - We always recommend the mantra of 'prevention is better than cure' . Hence, before you make that first crank of the engine make sure you open & check the air intake assembly for any collected water, if it's dry you are good to go and can start the engine & if there's any collected water then visit your trusted garage and let them handle your vehicle
