Things to do before hitting a drop
- size up the drop
- look for landing and run out zone
- wear proper safety gear depending on the size of drop
-choose the right bike depending on the drop
- approach at a decent speed, not too fast not too slow
- have someone film the drop in slow motion so that you can look for what went right and what did not
- always start with a small drop to minimize bigger injuries
- slightly push the handle bar forwards once you reach the lip of drop
- timing is key

Been there done that
Neelkanth Mahadev was a great ride with skinny trails, loose rocks, steep sections, sketchy lines and all in all gravity assisted ride on the way back. Has been in my mind for some time now, and now when I've done it, it is more tempting to go back again... But for now it's time to look for more new trails. If you guys have any trails in mind around manali Or lahoul spiti do write in the comment box and you'll see us hitting those trails and definitely mentioning you. If you don't ride mtb, still you can help grow the community by suggesting trails.
