⚠️ Awareness Post – Don’t Be Misled
At one of the cafés near White Pool Pass (Ladakh), a printed “Guinness World Record” style certificate is being sold for around ₹100. Many tourists stand in long queues to buy it, believing it has some official value or proudly sharing it as if they have received a real Guinness World Record.
The truth is: it is not an official Guinness World Records certificate. It is simply a souvenir printed by the café. Anyone can buy it by paying the fee. It has no recognition or verification from Guinness World Records.
Unfortunately, some people even post it on social media in a way that makes others believe they have actually earned a Guinness World Record.
If you buy it as a fun travel souvenir, that’s completely your choice. But please don’t confuse it with an official world record certificate or mislead others.
Share this with your friends and fellow travellers so they know the difference between a souvenir and a genuine achievement.
Real achievements don’t need fake certificates. Ride for the memories, not the misinformation. 🙌
