"एक फ़क़ीर एक दुकान में मांगने पहुचे तभी एक युवती दुकान में पहुची उसने सामान लिया और चली गई दुकानदार ने पैसा नही माँगा फ़क़ीर ने आश्चर्य से पूछा-"बेटा तुमने उस बालिका से पैसा नही लिया?!"
दुकानदार बोला-"बाबाजी मैं उससे प्यार करता हूँ और प्यार में हिसाब-किताब कैसा"
ये सुनते ही बाबा जी गश खा कर गिर पड़े।
दुकानदार ने फ़क़ीर के चेहरे पर पानी छिटका। बाबा जी को होश आया तो दुकानदार ने पूछा-
"क्या हो गया बाबा अब तो ठीक हैं ना आप.?"
बाबा ने हां कहा और चुपचाप चल निकले और दरगाह में पहुच कर बैठ कर दुआ के लिए हाथ जोड़ते हुए बोले-
"मालिक यहाँ इंसान इंसान से प्यार करता है और कोई हिसाब नही करता.,
एक मैं हूँ जो खुदा से प्यार करता हूँ पर 'माला के मनके' गिन-गिन कर करता हूँ।
