India’s EV story is no longer just about assembling vehicles.
It’s becoming a race for battery intelligence, deep-tech capability, and supply-chain control.
According to NITI Aayog and IEA estimates, India’s EV market could grow to over $200 billion by 2030, while battery demand is expected to rise nearly 30x from current levels. At the same time, India still imports a significant share of its lithium-ion cell requirements, highlighting the urgent need for domestic technology and manufacturing capabilities.
For years, China built scale while the rest of the world imported dependency. China today controls over 70% of global lithium-ion battery manufacturing capacity, according to IEA data. Now, India finally has a real opportunity to narrow that gap — but only if we focus on owning core technology, not just end products.
This belief has shaped our team’s approach from day one. We are not building around shortcuts or badge engineering. We are building from the ground up — with focus on AI-native BMS, fast-charging architecture, and intelligent EV systems designed for Indian conditions.
