The government has ruled out blending ethanol with diesel as it sharply lowers the fuel’s flash point (the temperature at which its vapours can ignite) and fails to meet the required safety standards. Public-sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) tested ethanol-diesel blends at their research and development centres in association with accredited laboratories and automobile manufacturers, minister of state for petroleum and natural gas, Suresh Gopi said.

This comes after the government seeks to blend ethanol with other fuels beyond petrol. Currently, E20 and E85 fuels, which contain 20 percent and 85 percent ethanol blends, respectively, are available in the country.

🚨 बड़ा U-Turn या फिर सच्चाई आई सामने? 🤔

Toyota ने आखिरकार Manish Kashyap के E20 Fuel वाले दावे पर अपनी चुप्पी तोड़ दी है।

Toyota Kirloskar Motor के मुताबिक, गाड़ी में आई खराबी की वजह E20 Petrol नहीं, बल्कि दूषित (Contaminated) और मानक से अलग Fuel था।

✅ कंपनी का कहना है:

• Fuel System और Engine Parts में E20 Fuel की वजह से किसी भी तरह का नुकसान नहीं मिला।
• Fuel Tank और Fuel Lines की सफाई के बाद जब Standard E20 Petrol डाला गया, तो गाड़ी दोबारा सामान्य तरीके से चलने लगी।
• Toyota का दावा है कि उसके E20 Compatible Vehicles इस Fuel के साथ पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हैं।
