How to check the engine oil level?

In order to check the level of the engine oil, the vehicle should be on main stand. Check the engine oil level using the dipstick. The engine oil level should be maintained between the upper and the lower level marks of the dipstick. In case it is needed, top up the engine oil up to the upper level on the dipstick.
Replace the engine oil if it is due for replacement

Dakar Rally 2013 – Day Six, Arica to Calama

Yamaha Netherlands Verhoeven Team rider Frans Verhoeven continues to move back up the time sheets as the Rally progresses. Verhoeven completed today’s 438km special stage in seventh place, just under seven minutes from the front rider. The result moves the Dutchman up the overall standings to 21st.

The two French Yamaha riders Olivier Pain and David Casteu were unable to repeat their success of yesterday’s one-two finish in stage five. Yamaha Racing France’s Pain came home in tenth, keeping his overall lead in the standings by over two minutes. Casteu finished today’s stage in 15th position, dropping down one place in the overall standings to third as a result. In the quad class

Marcos Patronelli was still flying today, the Yamaha Racing Argentina rider finishing in second place. A time lead of over an hour in the overall standings mean he is still comfortably in the ahead!

Monster Energy Yamaha Austria Racing Team Make Suzuka 8 Hours Rider Announcement

The Monster Energy Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART) has announced the rider line-up for the 36th legendary Suzuka 8 Hours race at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture, Japan from July 25th to 28th, round 2 of the 2013 FIM Endurance World Championship. All Japan Road Racing Superbike Champion and Yamaha MotoGP test rider Katsuyuki Nakasuga will be joined by World Supersport rider Broc Parkes and 2012 Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters.

Japanese rider Nakasuga stunned the racing world whilst replacing injured Yamaha Factory MotoGP rider Ben Spies at the 2012 season finale in Valencia, claiming an incredible second place finish on the podium. Australian Parkes wrapped up the 2012 World Supersport Championship in 5th place and previously rode for Yamaha in the World Supersport Championship from 2006 to 2008, finishing runner-up in 2007. Australian Waters will be teaming with British rider James Ellison to provide the Yamaha attack in the 2013 British Superbike Championship.
