MAP Sensor- Important sensor for your car
The MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor) is a sensor that measures the pressure of the air entering the engine intake manifold. The MAP sensor provides important information to the engine control module (ECM) or engine control unit (ECU) to help it determine the correct air/fuel ratio for optimal engine performance and efficiency.
