Have you seen this sign on your car dashboard? This malfunction indicates that there is a malfunction with anti-lock braking system of your car. The abs light should come on briefly every time you start your car as a part of system Check. If the light stays on that means something isn’t working and the system is s**t down. With abs sensors mounted at every wheel any of these sensors or the wiring may be faulty. There may be a possibility of a defective ABS Module.
You can still drive your car as it does not effect normal braking but it may be dangerous as your car can skid at high speeds. In Some cars like Skoda, Audi, VW etc the speedometer also stops working with a faulty abs or wheel speed sensor(wss). For your own safety get it Checked and repaired as soon as possible!
