Indian Road Safety Campaign is the road safety initiative of SOLVE, a non-profit trust founded by students and alumni of IIT Delhi. Some IIT Delhi students started this as a small project 5 years ago after losing some of their fellow students in a traffic accident. They have since grown to become the largest youth organization working in 50 cities with over 1,500 colleges and over 2,500 volunteers in awareness, technical innovation, law and politics, Medical and other fields in close cooperation with the Ministry of Roads and Motorways, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the National Crime Records Bureau, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Delhi Traffic Police, the United Nations Institute of Training and Research, etc. to change the road safety scenario in India. They strongly believe in the power of youth, technology and collaboration to achieve Vision Zero.
